I have been a researcher at CNRS since 2014, within the Empenn research unit, IRISA/Inria Rennes Bretagne Atlantique (Britanny, France). Since Nov. 2020, I am also the scientific director of the Neurinfo imaging platform. I am the French principal investigator of the MMINCARAV associate team, an Inria funded collaboration between Empenn and the Signal Processing Laboratory 5 (LTS5), EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. My research focuses on medical image acquisition and processing, with a particular interest in diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), an MRI modality well suited to the study of brain white matter.
Prior to that, I obtained my PhD in Computer Science and Image Processing from Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France. This PhD was prepared in the Athena Project-Team, INRIA Sophia Antipolis - Méditerranée, under the supervision of Dr Rachid Deriche. I then joined the Section of Biomedical Image Analysis, University of Pennsylvania Medical School as a postdoctoral researcher, working on High Angular Resolution Diffusion Imaging under the supervision of Prof Ragini Verma.

I was recently awarded the Prix de thèse AFRIF '13, for my PhD thesis work on Acquisition and Reconstruction in Q-space diffusion MRI, carried out under the supervision of Dr. Rachid Deriche. You can download my PhD dissertation here.
Service
I co-organized the 2nd HARDI Reconstruction Challenge, and was chair of the associated workshop held at the IEEE Symposium on Biomedical Imaging 2013 (San Francisco, CA, USA).
Since 2013, I have been a commitee member of the Workshop on Computational Diffusion MRI, CDMRI'13 (MICCAI'13, Nagoya, Japan) and CDMRI'14 (MICCAI'14, Boston, MA, USA).
I am a reviewer for the following journals and conferences: IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Neuroimage, PLOS ONE, International Journal of Computer Mathematics, MICCAI 2015 (Munich, Germany), MICCAI 2013 (Nagoya, Japan).
Software development
I recently proposed Phantomas, a simulation software for the evaluation of structural connectivity pipelines. I also developped a web application to generate incremental, optimal sampling schemes for multiple shell diffusion MRI. The code source to generate non-incremental gradient tables is now available on github. This Python minimal library also implements the modified spherical polar Fourier basis, for continuous and regularized reconstruction of the diffusion signal.
